AUBURN Warren V. Prescott, 93, passed into eternal rest to join his precious wife Helen on Sunday, January 23, 2011. Warren retired to N. Fort Myers, FL 30 years ago and resumed living in his hometown of Auburn just this summer due to failing health. He was the son of George W. and Mary O. (Veitch) Prescott. He was predeceased by his sisters Rose Milliken and Mary Holstrom. He leaves 2 daughters: Nan (Wilbur) Johnson of Auburn and Bette (Robert) Clark of Lakewood, CA; 3 grandchildren: Michelle Wallace of Indiana, Wendy (Ed) Byrne of Stanton, CA, Scott (Nicole) Johnson of Auburn; 4 great grandchildren: Rachael and Allison Byrne, Brady and Kendall Johnson.

Warren grew up in Auburn and graduated with Helen in 1936 as members of the first class to graduate from Auburn High School. He went on to take classes at Wentworth Institute and Worcester Polytechnic Institute. Retired from Morgan Construction Company, he spent 30 years working as inspector and superintendent traveling extensively to supervise the building of steel mills in England, Japan, South Africa and Brazil.
