The following is a sampling of the West Boylston police log. During the week of June 24 through July 1, officers responded to three motor vehicle accidents, six animal control calls and eight alarms. The ambulance was dispatched 18 times.

Sunday, June 24

12:29 p.m., Animal Control responded to North Main Street for a barking dog complaint.

1:54 p.m., officers responded to Brandywine Road for a suspicious male.

4:58 p.m., an officer responded to Fairbanks Street for a tree branch in the road.

10:02 p.m., officers responded to Prospect Street for a problem with a foster child. One juvenile arrested.

10:10 p.m., an officer responded to Franklin Street for a child custody issue.

Monday, June 25

7:42 a.m., an officer responded to Worcester Street for a past assault.

9:35 a.m., firefighters responded to Chapel Point, on Hartwell Street, for a fire alarm.

9:59 a.m., an officer responded to Worcester Street for a problem between neighbors.

12:07 p.m., an officer responded to the same Worcester Street address from an earlier call regarding threats made.

3:56 p.m., officers responded to Maple Street to check on a resident's welfare.

5 p.m., an officer responded to Walmart, on West Boylston Street, for a shoplifter.

5:51 p.m., an officer and an ambulance responded to West Boylston Auto Parts, on West Boylston Street, for an elderly male with a medical emergency.

11:19 p.m., an officer responded to Elm Street for a dog fight.

Tuesday, June 26

1:12 p.m., officers responded to Classic Suites and Inn, on West Boylston Street, to arrest a male on outstanding warrants.

1:26 p.m., officers responded to Goodale Street for a residential break-in.

2:51 p.m., an officer responded to the VFW Post, on Pierce Street, for a door vandalized with spray paint. Extra patrols were requested.

4:20 p.m., an officer responded to Walmart for a shoplifter.

7:30 p.m., an officer responded to Bunker Hill Parkway for a male soliciting at residences.

7:34 p.m., officers responded to Goodale and Malden streets for a foot pursuit following a motor vehicle accident. One male arrested.

9:50 p.m., an officer responded to Afra Drive for a noise disturbance.

11:48 p.m., an officer responded to Maple Street for a noise complaint from a house party.

Wednesday, June 27

2:17 p.m., an officer responded to Dunkin' Donuts, on West Boylston Street, for a customer causing a disturbance.
