Yvette J. (Lapierre) Brunelle, 79Sturbridge - Yvette J. (Lapierre) Brunelle, 79, of Sturbridge, passed away Wednesday, February 11, 2015, after a long illness, with her son by her side. She was born June 24, 1935, daughter of the late Leo A. and Evelyn R. (Gaulin) Lapierre. Her husband, William C. Brunelle, DDS, died April 18, 2014. They were married May 23, 1956. She leaves her son, Kenneth Brunelle, and his wife, Kristen, of Sturbridge, MA, and their son, Brandyn, of Manhattan, NY; her daughter, Denise (Poirier), wife of Jack Gryzb, and their children, Sadie and Joshua, of Dudley, MA; and her great-granddaughter, Alaina; and her sisters, Annette DiBonaventura of CT, Pauline Skadeland of GA, and Jeanne Lazure-Phelps of MA.Mrs. Brunelle graduated from Notre Dame with the class of 1953. She worked at the former American Optical Company in Southbridge, MA. She also worked at the former Rom's Restaurant in Sturbridge, MA, and was one of their first employees.
